Countdown at Miami, Bayfront Park

The Bayfront Park Management Trust listed Countdown at Miami from 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, to 2 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, at Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd., on its event calendar. The 2026 event, if it runs again, will appear on the same calendar.

Fireworks at home

Florida law allows consumer fireworks on three “designated holidays”: New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31; New Year’s Day, Jan. 1; and Independence Day, July 4, under section 791.08 of the Florida Statutes. The law says a homeowners’ association board cannot make rules taking that right away, though a recorded deed covenant can, and local government rules on fireworks still apply.

Our Fourth of July fireworks page covers the summer show.

Restaurants and parties

We list New Year’s Eve dinners and parties only when the venue announces them on its own site. None in the City of Miami had posted 2026 plans when we checked. Venues can send theirs through our contact page.
