What to expect in 2027
The trust has not announced the 2027 event. Its events calendar is where the date, times and lineup will be posted. We will update this page when they are.
July 4, 2027, falls on a Sunday.
Watching from elsewhere
The fireworks are fired over Biscayne Bay, so they can be seen along the downtown waterfront. If you go:
- The Metromover’s Bayfront Park station is next to the park.
- Bring water and sun protection if you go early; the 2026 program started at 1 p.m.
Fireworks at home
Since 2020, Florida law has allowed people to use consumer fireworks on three designated holidays: Jan. 1, July 4 and Dec. 31, under Section 791.08, Florida Statutes. The same law says it does not override local regulation of fireworks, and a homeowners association’s recorded covenants can still ban them. Check with the City of Miami (311) and your association before you light anything, and keep pets inside.
What this means for you
