Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ spring recess is Monday, March 22, to Friday, March 26, 2027. The next Monday, March 29, is a teacher planning day with no students, so students are off through March 29 and go back Tuesday, March 30. The same weeks bring the Calle Ocho festival to Little Havana and Ultra to Bayfront Park.

Camps

Miami Children’s Museum, 980 MacArthur Causeway: Explorers Spring Camp: Arts Alive!, March 22-26, 2027, for ages 4 to 12. Camp runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with before care from 8 a.m. and after care to 6 p.m. (no after care Friday, March 26). Each day covers a different art form: puppetry, theater, visual arts, music and dance. The registration form is on the museum’s camp page.
