An index of where Miami's legal notices are published: FloridaPublicNotices.com, Miami-Dade's legal ads site and City of Miami meeting notices.
Last checked Oct. 9, 2026. This page is an index, not the official publication of any notice. Sources: FloridaPublicNotices.com, Miami-Dade County’s legal ads and public notices page, the City of Miami’s News-Notices and Section 50.0311, Florida Statutes.
Public notices tell you about government actions before they happen: hearings and meetings, zoning and land use changes, budgets and tax rates, election notices, bids and foreclosure sales. In Florida the law says where they must appear, and in Miami-Dade there are now two main places: newspapers and the county’s legal ads website. This page points to both, and to the City of Miami’s own notices. It is not the official publication.

1. FloridaPublicNotices.com (newspapers)
FloridaPublicNotices.com is run by the Florida Press Service and collects the legal notices that Florida newspapers publish, more than 100,000 a month, the site says. You can search all of them free, filter by county or newspaper, see notices from the last 35 days or archived ones up to three years old, and sign up for email or text alerts.
Newspapers on the site that serve Miami include the Miami Daily Business Review, the Miami Herald, The Miami Times and Miami Today. Choose “Miami-Dade” in the county filter.
2. Miami-Dade County’s legal ads website
Since 2022, Florida law has let governments publish many legal notices on a “publicly accessible website”, a county’s official website or one the county designates, instead of in a newspaper. Notices there must be searchable and show the date they were first posted, under Section 50.0311.
Miami-Dade County runs its site at legalads.miamidade.gov, which opens the county’s Legal Ads and Public Notices page. You can sign up there to receive county legal ads and public notices by email or mail. The Clerk of the Board, 305-375-5126, handles it.
Some governments still publish certain hearing notices in a newspaper, so check both places for anything that matters to you.
3. City of Miami notices
The city posts its own meeting notices on miami.gov:
- News-Notices: City Commission meetings, budget hearings and notices of “Sunshine” meetings. Recent postings include the Oct. 8 Commission meeting notice (posted Oct. 1) and the Sept. 24 second budget hearing (posted Sept. 17).
- Meeting calendar and agendas: every board and commission meeting, with agendas and minutes. The next City Commission meeting is 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive.
- Election notices for city elections.
- Planning calendar for zoning and planning board hearings.
