Mother’s Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. Vizcaya in Coconut Grove holds a Mother’s Day Tea on the Terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay, and the Sunday farmers market across the street at Vizcaya Village is open the same morning for gifts and flowers.

Mother’s Day tea at Vizcaya

Mother’s Day Tea on the Terrace, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, 3251 S. Miami Ave. In 2026 it was Sunday, May 10, with high tea on the East Terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay and seatings at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Museum admission was included, so families could walk the gardens before or after. The 2027 date will be on Vizcaya’s calendar.

Gift market

Vizcaya Village Farmers Market, every Sunday at Vizcaya Village on the west side of South Miami Avenue, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on summer hours, which ran June 7 to Sept. 27 in 2026). Dozens of vendors sell locally grown and handmade goods. Because Mother’s Day is a Sunday, the market is open that morning.
